FRP Composite Strengthening

OVERVIEW

The composite technology derives from the areospace industry and is now being engineered and utilized to strengthen concrete structures.

Concrete elements successfuly strengthened include beams,columns,decks and soffits.

(FRP) Fiber Reinforced Polymer Composite is often used in conjunction with other more traditional techniques in order to make up for load bearing deficiencies or increase structural properties of existing concrete elements to meet seismic code requirements.

Slater's experience dates back 25 years to research and develop projects we particapated in at Charles Powel Research and Testing Facility.

Slater pioneered the installation process and have continued ever since to very active in successfully completing FRP Strengthening projects.
